Sharing smiles and Doughnation in Nkomazi
04 Sep 2020
Lockdown has affected many people across the country, especially the vulnerable and elderly. The Vulingqondo Old Age Group has had difficulty feeding and providing support to the 25 orphans, 10 youth, 10 adults with disabilities and 35 elderly citizens who depend on the centre. The centre was started by a caring community member who wanted to help even though they were unemployed. Inspired by the community’s determination and will to support the vulnerable and elderly, Debonairs Pizza Nkomazi surprised them with a special Doughnation. They brought delicious flatbreads, apples, juice and chips for everyone to enjoy. With the social distancing measures in place, everyone shared smiles in between bites. Thanks you Debonairs Pizza Nkomazi for this inspiring Doughnation story and for following the social distancing regulations.
